Black, black and more black

Ever heard that phrase 'I'll only stop wearing black, when they invent a darker colour'? That is basically me.

I went shopping today and popped into my local Primark as I have been seeing bloggers post amazing purchases from Primark.

I spotted these and was like OMG! and when I looked at the price tag I was like double OMG! How amazing are these? They look like a pair of sandals you would find in TOPSHOP, and for the amazing price of £8 you cant go wrong!

Then I saw this beautiful clutch, the picture definitely does not do it justice! It has a croc skin feel to it, and looks so much more expensive than it actually was (£4!!) I don't like out there clutch bags, I prefer plain ones such as this one, as my outfits are usually already out there.

Excuse the rubbish picture, but OMG I cannot begin to describe how much I love this long kimono. I cannot wait to be wearing it over a bikini by the beach! I love the print on this, It makes it look like a Urban Outfitters piece. Definitely a great buy!

P.S stopped by Prezzo to have lunch, picked the least calories option on the pasta, but must say it was a m a z i n g for 380 calories!

I've ordered loads of bits and pieces online that I will definitely be sharing with you!

Love and peace,

New buys - March haul

I managed to purchase a few bits and pieces throughout March. I didn't have enough time to actually go out and shop so most of these products were purchased online. Thank god for online shopping right?! Due to the fact I have been so busy and haven't had time this month, I didn't manage to purchase as many beauty products unfortunately. April will definitely be a beauty based month!

Shoes - Topshop croc slip ons
H&M Snake skin slip ons ( I think sold out now)
Oh! By the way girls, I am contemplating subscribing to monthly packages of 'glossy box'. It seems like a great way to try new products. Let me know if any of you are subscribed and whether it's worth it or not!

Mac Fix + and Mac brush cleanser

After hearing so many good reviews on the Mac Fix + spray, I finally got it. Although, as you can tell by the usage of the bottle, it didn't match my expectations. It's basically like water. After one spray when finished applying make up, it does not settle in the skin as I was hoping it would. I'm going to try to blend it in my brushes and see if that makes a difference. For now, I am not impressed with that! The Mac Brush Cleanser on the other hand, has definitely matched my expectations! I gave my babies a bath the other day with this and now they are as smooth as ever! However, the major downfall is that you have to use a lot of the product on each brush, so it runs out very quickly (as you can see from the bottle after one use, I only have around 10 brushes).  Saying that, spending £10 once every two months to have super soft and clean brushes is so worth it! p.s if you're looking for a tutorial on how to clean make up brushes, head over to pixie woo's channel on YouTube, she has a great video on how to clean Real Techinique brushes but also applies to any kind of brushes.

Missguided - Sold out
So as it's under 100 days till my first holiday, I thought I'd get prepared and purchased this bee-autiful bikini from Missguided. I originally fell in love with it when It was it's original price. Then I checked the next day, and it was on sale! Happy days! I absolutely love the top of this as it has a halterneck but also straps which is so different, also it's monochrome. I am adoring anything that is monochrome at the moment!

White Topshop Tee shirt crop top
Black cropped cami top

More black and white yay! I am absolutely loving anything that's cropped and high waisted. The white tee-shirt crop top can make an outfit look so laid back and casual (it also needs an iron, excuse that!). The black cami top is perfect for spring as it will get hotter. This beauty matched with white Topshop Joni Jeans will look monochrome magnificent!

Missguided white skort

Absolutely love this skort from Missguided. I had seen a very similar version on the Zara website for much more! I wasn't feeling the whole skort trend at all just because nearly everyone has one. However, I am so glad I purchased this one. It is so comfortable, and you have no problems with bending down and flashing bits as they are shorts. Also, you can dress it down with some sneakers and a baggy top, or dress it up with a cami like I have done here for a more evening look (apologies for the terrible mirror photo and a head in the background).

E-bay

Anyone that knows me well enough knows that I love elephants and anything with an elephant print. So when I saw this anklet I had to purchase! I just typed in anklet into E-Bay and found this gorgeous elephant and daisy chain anklet. I cannot wait to wear this in the summer on a sandy beach.

OOTD - Slip on shoes trend

Hi girls!

I know I have done a post so recent but I just wanted to do a short post to share with you my outfit of the day today. I have been in looove with slip on's at the moment, they look so effortless as you can just slip them on and also make any outfit look classy but also casual, for that laid back look. They are super on trend at the moment, due to the fact that you could wear them with a girly dress but still look amazing. They are suitable both for work and play, which makes them so popular! Besides that, how can we not love a think sole that gives us short ones such as myself some extra inches of height?

The main piece of this OOTD is definitely the slip on's. I may do a look book in the coming weeks of the slip on's with different pieces to dress up/ down.

Sunglasses - River Island (purchased 2 summer's ago)
Cropped jumper - Topshop
High waisted jeans - Primark
Slip on shoes - Topshop
Bag - New look
Leather jacket - Dorothy Perkins

Today I purchased these gorgeous slip on's that every blogger has been going on about. No wonder! They are absolutely perfect and so easy to slip on. I loved them so much that I had to put them on as soon as I purchased them. However, their major down fall is that they are so damn painful that I also had to pop into Forever 21 shortly after wearing them to grab some toe socks. I think because they are so hard, they take quite long to break into. Hopefully after a few more wears they shouldn't be so painful anymore!

I purchased this pair of slip on's from H&M. I have been totally with a capital T in love with these slip on's ever since I saw them on the website. However, I didn't want to order them as I and probably the whole of UK has ordered from H&M and have waited what seems centuries for the delivery (which is upsetting as there are always more nice pieces on the website than in store). I also went into the Westfield store previously to hunt for them but sadly couldn't find them. Today, I was wandering through Oxford Street and popped into 1 of the many H&M stores in the Oxford Street area, and found these beauties! And last pair in my size!! It was the kind of joy that a fat kid gets when he see's chocolate. I will definitely be doing a OOTD on these soon, so keep posted!

I will love to hear your opinion on the slip on trend, let me know down below if you're yay'ing or nay'ing the thick soles!

p.s I will also be posting this coming week to share with you this months buys as mentioned in my previous blog.

Love and peace,

Wishlist - What I'm loving/wanting at the moment!

Hi girls! So I thought I'd share with you some of the things I'm loving at the moment and dying for it to be pay day so I can purchase (nearly pay day for me yay!) Love being rich for 1 week and the other 3 weeks broke as ever (Hash tag problems of being a shopaholic!) The reason behind this blog post is that I haven't had anything interesting to do a blog post on since I haven't been out recently, although the weather has been fab here in the UK. I'm thinking for my next blog post to share this month's purchases with you girls as I have purchased a few beauty products and have updated my wardrobe with new trendy pieces ready for spring. For now, I'll leave the links below the pictures of the items in my wishlist in case you fall in love with some of them (just like I have).
BILLIE FIREFLY
It was definitely love at first sight with this gorgeous bikini from triangl! They have so many amazingly gorgeous bikini's it' so hard to pick. Definitely a pay day buy!

I didn't know how I felt about mom jeans for a while but now I have seen some amazing pieces to style mom jeans with so I am totally in the mom jeans trend. I love these Topshop mom jeans as they're quite plain, not distressed and high waisted! Anything that is high waisted gets a big YES YES from me!

I am absolutely loving co-ordinates at the moment. I have seen some amazing ones around, too many to list. This one is definitely my favorite from missguided. This is such a cute piece to transition into spring with, as tartan has been in this season. This is so perfect for the warm but not so warm days as the material looks to be quite thick.

Benefit The Porefessional Primer (22ml)
A beauty product that I am so excited to try out is this benefit primer from look fantastic. I have heard amazing reviews from other bloggers/vloggers that it does miracles to your skin. I will do a review on this for you girls!

Image 1 of Shellys London Mish Woven Star Sandals
I cannot begin to describe how in love I am with these Shellys London shoes! Can we all just take a minute to admire the beauty of these! They are number 1 on my wish list at the moment, but they are quite over my price budget for shoes, but as my birthday is a month away I'm hoping I'll get spoilt.

Image 1 of JuJu Babe White Heeled Jelly Sandals

Next on the shoe section of my wish list I have the famous juju jellies that are around literally everywhere now! Thank god for these babies we don't have to see so much toe action in the transition between spring and summer. I love these so much I want a pair in every different color for this summer (probably will only purchase in 5 colors though). These will be so perfect for my upcoming holidays in July, so so excited to purchase!

I absolutely adore this bralet from Topshop. Although pastel colors are in this season, I can't seem to say goodbye to the basic colors - black, white and grey. Alexander Wang created this v bralet design and now it's everywhere! This will look amazing with a white midi skirt for the monochrome simple look.

Last but not least (and probably not last as I will find other things I will want to purchase) on my wish list for this month is this jumpsuit from missguided. I am going out in the evening later on this month and was looking around for a sophisticated but dressy piece and found this beauty! As it's an all black outfit, this will look amazing with a dark lippy and a dark colored clutch bag.
p.s I will do another blog on this outfit when I wear it later this month.

Let me know down below whether you girls like any of these too and any other items you're loving this month!

Music - At the moment I'm loving Calvin Harris - Summer.  Getting me excited for the summer which is nearly here yay!

DIY distressed jeans - S/S14 is looking holey!

Distressed jeans have always been a trend since I can remember. My mum owned a pair when I was little, I owned a pair a few years ago. However, distressed jeans are so on trend at the moment more than ever now that we're coming into spring/summer. There's just something about that little bit of skin peeping through that we all love. They go perfectly with anything and give that edgy/ rough & effortless look to any piece you wear them with which I absolutely adore! I've been trying to find THE perfect pair of distressed black skinny jeans EVERYWHERE and have had no luck. Either they're too long, have too many rips, sold out... You get my drift. After failing to find my perfect pair, I came up with the fab idea of buying a standard pair of H&M black jeans and DIY'ing the rips onto them (da da!)

I'm not a DIY person at all, mainly because I'm so so lazy! If you can find it in a high street shop already done, why bother? But I'm definitely starting to change for the better.

All you need for this DIY operation is a standard pair of black jeans (ofc), a pair of scissors, a pencil, a hard object to place in the jeans and a nail filer/ shard ended object e.g sandpaper block.

Step 1- take a pair of jeans and place the pins where you would like the rips. Ideally you should place the pins when worn.
Step 2- place a hard object like shown inside the jeans.
Step 3- cut the rip just below the pin & the use a rough end object on the rip to create a rough look.

This is how I styled my DIY distressed jeans:
Denim shirt - Topshop
Cami - Topshop
Jeans - H&M (DIY Distressed)
Slip on's - H&M

Maybe you girls have had the same problem with not finding your perfect distressed jeans. Let me know down below if you have used this DIY method in turning a standard Plain jane pair of jeans into a pair of Classy Rock Chic distressed jeans.

Song I am loving at the moment is Clean bandit - Rather be. Love how this song can put me in a great mood instantly.
